Texas added 80,600 jobs in February and has added nearly 360,000 jobs in the past 12 months. 

The Texas unemployment rate fell to 6.2 percent in November, down from 6.6 percent in October and 7.3 percent at the start of 2012.  

According to the Texas Workforce Commission, the Texas economy added 38,000 seasonally adjusted non-farm jobs in August.
